Nikesha Patel is a busy bee these days with plenty of work in hand across all four South Indian languages. So far, in Telugu, she has acted in only one film, Puli, which released in 2010 and later on she was signed up to play a lead role in Kalyan Ram’s OM, which has been under production for almost two years. However, this year, it looks like her career is zooming ahead. Not only did she bag one of the lead roles in M S Raju’s RUM (Rambha Urvashi Menaka), but also her recent Kannada film Varadhanayaka turned out to be a huge hit. Since then, she has been flooded with several offers in Kannada, but the actress seems to have cast her eyes on Tamil cinema.
“Signed my third tamil film!!!!!! And even my first tamil film not released! ))))),” she posted on Twitter. Last year, there was news that she’s going to star opposite Shanthanu Bhagyaraj in an untitled Tamil film and later on she signed another film in Ramesh Selvam’s direction.More details about her new project will be revealed soon. For now, her friendship with her co-stars Trisha and Charmee has become a hot topic in the industry. From partying in Muscat to holidaying in Maldives, the three actresses seem to have grown quite fond of each other.
